What was the highlight of BeSS Mansion Hotel Surabaya
Excellent staff.
The staff were outstanding. So helpful, friendly and welcoming. We had a very early start the morning after our stay and staff organised a wakeup call, our breakfast and a taxi back to the airport which was ready and waiting for us when we walked into reception. Our room was clean and comfortable.
When we booked our accommodation, it was listed as close to the airport. It was a 25 minute drive. This was a little frustrating as we were on a tight turn around to be on a flight the next morning.

Clean but AC not functioning
The staff is nice. Rooms are cleans.
The air conditioning is not working properly When we saw this, we requested to change rooms which they did (and it is nice) but the problem was the same. It was not due to the room, but to the fact that their units are really old. Put in their maximum it worked like a fan. The temperature in the room was close to 30 degrees anyway. If I knew this, I would have booked elsewhere. If you don't mind about air conditioning, it is a fair hotel.

A lot free things that we didn’t expect, staff was very friendly, rooms were clean, food had its variety. There was a pool on the 9th floor but we didn’t use it. Overall solid for the money
